“两个结合”是推进马克思主义中国化时代化的根本途径，是我们党在百年奋斗历程中探索出来的规律性认识。新征程上，要继续谱写马克思主义中国化时代化新篇章，就必须坚定不移坚持“两个结合”。“第一个结合”即坚持马克思主义基本原理同中国具体实际相结合，主要是结合宏大而独特的中国式现代化实践，深刻回答“四个之问”，丰富完善党的创新理论成果。“第二个结合”即坚持马克思主义基本原理同中华优秀传统文化相结合，是对“第一个结合”的创新发展，深刻阐明了马克思主义扎根中国的文化机理和历史必然性，是又一次的思想解放，要求我们必须肩负新的文化使命，积极推动“两创”，建设中华民族现代文明。

The "Two Combinations" is the fundamental path to advancing the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, and a law-based understanding explored by our Party in the century-long struggle. On the new journey, to continue composing a new chapter in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, we must unswervingly adhere to the "Two Combinations". The "first combination"-combining the basic principles of Marxism with China's specific realities-mainly involves integrating with the grand and unique practice of Chinese modernization, profoundly answering the "Four Questions", and enriching and improving the theoretical achievements of the Communist Party's innovation. The "second combination", which combines the basic principles of Marxism with excellent traditional Chinese culture, is an innovative development of the "first combination". It profoundly clarifies the cultural mechanism and historical inevitability of Marxism taking root in China, which represents another emancipation of the mind. It requires us to shoulder the new cultural mission, and actively promote "creative transformation and innovative development" to build a modern civilization of the Chinese nation.
