在中国经典文学作品的对外传播过程中,出现过不少英译选集,其中海外华人学者柳无忌、罗郁正合作编译的《葵晔集》便是不容忽视的一部作品,受到了英语读者的好评。然而,国内学界对该译作却关注甚少。文章从编译者治学生涯、书名解析、体例编排、译文述评等多角度切入,通过描述性地梳理分析,考求《葵晔集》的独特价值。

In the process of spreading classical Chinese literature,there have been many anthologies of English translation,among which Sunflower Splendor co-edited by Wu-chi Liu and Irving Yucheng Lo,two overseas Chinese scholars,is a hugely popular work that can not be ignored.However,domestic academia has little attention to the translation.The article researches on the unique value of Sunflower Splendor by means of descriptively combing and analyzing from several different angles like the study career of the translators,the analysis of the title,the style of the layout and the review of translated text.
